Bird Banding Station
Study of passerine bird migration using mass banding. Over 23 years of the station's operation, 254,000 individuals of 185 bird species have been captured and banded.

Oriental Stork
From a few dozen to a few hundred pairs over 45 years: the oriental stork has transformed from one of the rarest species into a locally common bird, actively expanding into new areas of Primorye.

Blakiston's Fish Owl
A priority species for our NGO since the early 1990s. We monitor the population, work on conservation, and produce documentary films.
Environmental Assessments
We evaluate and reduce risks of negative impacts on bird populations when implementing economic projects, and participate in justifying the creation of new protected areas.
Far-Eastern Journal of Ornithology
A peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Amur-Ussuri Center for Avian Biodiversity in cooperation with the Institute of Biology and Soil Science (now Federal Scientific Center of the East Asia Terrestrial Biodiversity) of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 2010 to 2016.
Dedicated to the birds of Russia's Far East. The first issue published the complete checklist of bird species, updated for 2010, and a comprehensive bibliography of scientific publications on the birds of Primorye Region. Subsequent issues feature articles devoted to individual bird species. All articles are in PDF format with full translations into English, freely available and downloadable.
